A very wonderful and fun filled blog about Chembra peak, near Kalpetta. Kalpetta, which is surrounded by dense coffee and tea plantations is the center of tourism activities in Wayanad. There are many places to visit in Kalpetta which makes it a tourist spot famous for shopping and trade.

Hi Swathi,
I got your mail. I reply you there.
Hi Swathi,
Step one: Open the below map link in browser
https://www.google.co.in/maps/dir/KTDC+Tamarind+Thirunelly,+Thirunelly+Temple,+Thirunelly,+Kerala+670646/Thirunelli+Forest+Guest+House,+Kodagu,+Karnataka/Thirunelli+Pakshipathalam+Trek,+Manchalli,+Karnataka+670646/@11.9197137,75.9815061,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m20!4m19!1m5!1m1!1s0x3ba5c35775a83903:0xd48f1d7a1862eea8!2m2!1d75.99581!2d11.911716!1m5!1m1!1s0x3ba5c350ea29f9bd:0x8f2a084e3a6efddd!2m2!1d76.000178!2d11.91071!1m5!1m1!1s0x3ba5c491bd1183d1:0xde83d4234654daf4!2m2!1d75.9794712!2d11.9310546!3e2
First point in the map, you will see “KTDC Tamarind Thirunelly”
KTDC stands for Kerala Tourism Development Corporation; Tamarind is the name of the hotel and Thirunelly is the place.
Second point in the map, you will see “Thirunelli Forest Guest House”
This is the place where you have to take the permission for trekking. You can not go alone. A guide is a must. Night camping inside the forest area not allowed to just one day trek of total 12-13 kms
Third point in the map, you will see “Thirunelli Pakshipathalam Trek”
Well, you will walk along this trek almost half the way and then change the trek to Brahmagiri Midway. Trek to Pakshipathalam is no more allowed.
I stayed in KTDC Tamarind. Reason: Far from crowd, serene and economical.
Here is the website link for the guest house: http://www.ktdc.com/tamarind-thirunelli.php
This is the kind of article and information we look for. Thank you so much.
