yes, you will walk along a water stream initially.
which is the best season for brahmagiri trek?
Try to avoid monsoon because the trek would be full of leeches. After monsoon, the whole of the terrain is full of greenery. Thus its better to start in mid-sept. However, grasses start to die from November and sometimes the sun could be little warmer in Nov/Dec. Take a look at the weather report before leaving.
How about trek gradients, difficulty level and distance?
Initially, you will have to walk 3 kms over Jeep train until Watch tower. The walk is easy but full of leeches. From watch tower, the climb is little steep for 3 kms but is full of awesome views.

Hi, any idea about how difficult this trek is, compared to the trek to the valley of flowers? I am a fat person, but managed to complete the valley of flowers (ghangaria to the valley, could not complete the trek to ghangaria, took a pony for the last two kilometers} trek with a little difficulty one year ago. Is this comparable or easier? Any info would be appreciated.
