Sarojini nagar market

SAROJINI NAGAR

Most popularly known as  “SN”. This market is in South Delhi near INA it is named after famous freedom fighter ‘Sarojini Naidu’. As soon as you plan to pay a visit here you will find two markets one of them is ‘Babu Market’ famous for its footwear collection especially heels and the another one is central market where you can find anything you want  and you will be amazed to see huge variety of clothes in different designs, fabrics, colors, sizes in latest fashion and even there are vendors selling earrings, Goggles, nightwear and lot more. I think you will get tired but market won’t get end and no one comes barehanded from here. There are many food options here after tiring shopping, there is Mcd, South Indian restaurant and in ‘babu market’ there is ‘Mucchal halwayi ki dukaan’ famous for its Samosa and Jalebi and lot there are more options to eat.

JANPATH MARKET

Janpat market setup in early 90’s and till now its essence is same lot of vendors, shoppers selling large number of products that everyone admires and change as the fashion change. Every time you go here you will see the variety of clothes that you many even find in malls and stores and the most amazing thing is you can get anything at the killer prices because here, there is no limit for bargaining. If you are planning to go here you must buy beautiful ethnic bags, shades and footwear. It’s a small market so I think you can get anything and it won’t take More than 1 and a half hour. TIBETAN MARKET

This market is like a little Tibet in Delhi in a form of Monastery when you enter here it’s like a colony where people living with lot of sellers and buyers with lots of Tibetan handicrafts shawls, shoes and lot of designer and fashionable clothes at reasonable prices this market is located near the ‘Majnu ka Tila Gurudwara’ near civil lines. There are lots of Tibetan restaurants serving thukpa, Momos, noodles all are delicious so try any one of them.

GREATER KAILASH

Greater Kailash M-Block market is also one of the famous markets to do lot of shopping it was set up in 1970 and famous for clothes in latest vogue. Here lot of clothes get exported and might be you get lucky to get branded clothes at low prices. I got one Vero Moda jacket form here for only 400 sound good?? So find something fashionable and branded here. You have lot of food options here are many restaurants and café like CCD, Yo china etc.

DILLI HAAT

Dilli  Haat set up in many places in Delhi  INA, Pitampura,  Janakpuri  and it always change based on the theme mostly cultural based. I have been to one of  them  in Pitampura  in there are several kiosks selling different variety of products at reasonable rates and the dresses found here are often traditional made of silk and wool fabrics and lot of handicrafts and handlooms ,camel hide footwear and lot more.

Metro station: AIIMS, NSP.
