Tiger Express: Indian Railway’s first Wildlife Tourism Train

Tiger express, India’s first wildlife tourism train, was launched on the world environment day, June 5th, by the current Indian railway minister Suresh Prabhu. Tiger express will cover the tiger trail throughout the India giving tourist an option to cover the wildlife tourism in different states of India.

Tiger Express Itinerary:

The Tiger express has a total of 6 days of an itinerary which starts from Delhi on Day one and ends again in Delhi on day six.
On this 6 days of the itinerary, you travel to a total of four major locations out of which three are major wildlife and tiger safari zone.

Day 2
Arrival in Katni in the morning
Arrive in Katni in the morning, have breakfast and then leave for Bandhavgarh national park. Check in the hotel, have lunch, relax and in the evening, leave for tiger safari. Have dinner and sleep

Day 3
Katni – Bandhavgarh national park
After the morning Breakfast, leave for the Kanha National park. Have lunch and go for evening safari. Relax after the dinner

Day 4
Kanha national park
Have morning safari and late morning Breakfast. Lunch at Hotel. Evening time for leisure. Dinner & overnight at Hotel.

Day 5

Kanha national park and Jabalpur

Have Breakfast and leave for Jabalpur (135 Kms Approx). Have lunch at the hotel and then leave for the Dhuadhar Waterfall in Bedhaghat.

Day 6

Arrival in Delhi Safdarjung @ 15:50 hrs
Arrive at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station by late evening with breakfast and lunch on the train
