LightHouse Park Hike, North Shore, West Vancouver

Lighthouse Park is located on the southern tip of the Peninsula in the West Vancouver. It is a popular tourist attraction for visitors to Vancouver as it is a National Historic Site of Canada. The park is famous for a lot of viewpoints, beginners level trail, old rainforest, many picnic spots, and beaches.

Lighthouse park hiking trails

Lighthouse Park has a big parking spot near its entrance. There are also different trails which can be used for hiking. If you explore the trails on the google maps. You can start to your left or to your right and cover all the points such as Eagle point, Jackpine point, Shore pine point etc.

Most of the hiking trail goes along the seashore. Though the points defined above are the official points recognized in the Google map but there are other many viewpoints as well. From where you can take a lot of pictures of the city of Vancouver and the sea. From downtown, take bus number 250 towards the horseshoe bay to get down at the Beacon lane. Views from Lighthouse Park

There are a lot of things to see from the lighthouse beaches including the lion’s gate, Vancouver downtown, ships leaving the port, yacht, fishing boats and a lot more if you can identify different areas of Vancouver. However, when I went there, going near the Lighthouse was closed. You can only see the lighthouse from a distance.
