Driving to Lohgad fort:

Just search on google maps for ‘Lohgad Fort, Lohagad Trek Road, Pune, Maharashtra 410406′t and Google maps will show you a road until the base of the Lohgad fort. The road ends in a village and also exactly at the same point from where the stone stairs take you the Lohgad fort. However, the patches of roads are really tough and steep.

Reaching Lohgad fort by train:

Take a train to Malavli station and get down there. From Malavli station, Lohgad fort is almost a walk of around 6 Kms. This route is also called as “Khind Rasta” or “Lohgad Visapur Trek road”. The path is pretty straight forward and Enroute you can also see the Lohgad fort situated at the hill top. You will also come across Bhaja caves while walking towards Lohgad fort. On Weekends, you can find pick ups to Lohgad fort and usually a few locals can be seen on the trek road.
