Anthargange also called as Anthragange, Antharagange, Antaragange is a famous hill spot near bangalore, Known for caves. The parking lot in the map above serves as the trek starting point as well. It is safe to park your vehicle there overnight. The trek starts with steps to the Anthargange pool/ temple also called as Sri Kashi Vishweshwara temple.

It takes almost 15 mins to reach to the temple. There is also natural water pool near the temple. No one really knows the source of this pool. But, the pool is becoming dirty day after day. A pool which was supoosed to be natural is no more natural.

Behind the temple, there are steps to the hill top. At a few places, the steps are carved into the rocks and at other places, one has to hop through the rocks to reach to the top. Time taken to reach top is almost one hour.

After you reach the top, you will see a village there called  “Paparajanahalli”. This village has light and electricity as well. But villagers do not use the trek route to come from Kolar. They use road to come to their village. their village is well connected by the road. So, One can directly drive upto the village and with help of villagers explore the caves.
